Path of Righteousness
I went on a run today- a trail run. When I got to the entrance of the the woods where the trail started, there were two ways I could go. One way was not labeled, but the other was marked with trail markers. Sometimes the road would split, but there would be a sign “tower loop” and an arrow pointing where to go. This way I knew I was staying on the right path. Every time I ran up a hill, took a turn, had to leap over a branch, I would find a marker not too far after: “tower loop”, affirming the path I was on. Once I decided I was going to turn around, those markers guided me back. Anytime I got concerned if I was heading the right direction I would glance back and see the marker “tower loop”- & I knew I was going the right way. The run back was hard. It was hot. I was tired. Lots of turns and hills. But I knew that no matter how hard, I could look back at any moment, see the marker: “tower loop”, and trust where I was heading. I knew where I came from, and so I kne...
